Born and raised in the warmth of a loving Haitian home, Chef France's passion for cooking blossomed in the kitchen alongside her mother. Witnessing her parents create delicious meals from scratch with fresh ingredients, and she discovered a natural talent for the art of culinary creation.
In Haiti, Chef France refined her culinary craft, immersing herself in the rich traditions and flavors of Haitian cuisine. Today, she is a proud member of the Haitian Culinary Alliance and the National Black Chef Association in Atlanta (NBCA 50 States), where her exceptional talent has been recognized with nominations in February 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
Chef France's culinary philosophy is deeply rooted in her heritage. While passionate about showcasing the vibrant flavors of Haiti, her culinary repertoire also extends to other world cuisines. She uses the finest, highest-quality ingredients to create dishes that are not only delicious but also imbued with love. Her commitment to minimizing food waste translates into a creative approach to utilizing all parts of an ingredient, resulting in vegetable dishes bursting with the exotic flavors of Haiti.
Beyond her culinary artistry, Chef France embodies a spirit of giving. During the pandemic, she volunteered to cook for first responders at the North Miami Police Station. She also played a key role in Diner en Blanc Fort-Lauderdale 2023 and West Palm 2024, delighting 500 guests as the event's official chef.
Based in Miami, Florida, Chef France runs her own catering business, Epic Catering & Planning Services LLC, and works as a private and traveling chef. Her mission is to share the rich tapestry of Haitian cuisine with a wider audience, fostering connections and cultural understanding through the power of food. While teaching people about zero food waste, Chef France emphasizes the importance of sustainable practices and minimizing food waste in her culinary endeavors.
