Chef Cenobio Canalizo is the Executive Chef for the popular Morgan’s
Brooklyn Barbecue concept which has locations in Brooklyn, King of
Prussia (outside of Philadelphia) as well as a third location opening later in
2023. Eater Critic Robert Sietsema said Morgan's is "better than ever, up
there with the city's great barbecue spots," this past fall. Thrillist named
Morgan's one of the "15 Best Barbecue Joints in NYC" in 2022.
Chef Cenobio is also the Chef of Tiny's Cantina in Brooklyn, which is an
ode to the cuisine of his hometown of Puebla, Mexico. His signature
tlayuda (Mexican pizza) was lauded as one of the “Best NYC Dishes of
2021” by Eater.
Chef Cenobio has additionally served as the Executive Chef for
GlazierWorks, the renowned family-led New York hospitality company
headed by second-generation restaurateur Mathew Glazier. For
GlazierWorks, Chef Cenobio previously had roles as Executive Chef at
Strip House and Michael Jordan's The Steak House.
